Nightingale Nursing Home is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our team of dedicated nurses and carers in the delivery of quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have expereince at a senior nurse manager level, in depth knowledge of standards and legislation, experience of HIQA inspections. They will also have current NMBI registration and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. They will have excellent clinical nursing skills.

Their primary role will be to direct and support staff, to delegate and supervise. They will oversee all aspects of the day to day operation of the nursing home. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. Experience of auditing, risk assessment and care plan development will be beneficial.
